FUNDRAISE FOR CHARITY

Running for charity has never been more important than it is right now. All around the world charity finances are being stretched and they need you to fundraise whenever you can. If you have an entry in an event why not use it to support your preferred charity and do whatever you can to help them deliver their crucial work. It's really important that as many of us as possible fundraise for charities and when you do you'll find out just how rewarding it is. Running and fundraising is a great combination and can be great fun.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Choose which charity you want to raise money for and contact them direct. They will let you know how much you need to raise to get access to their support programme, like a running vest and training information etc.

The charity will give you plenty of support to help you (and so will we; just check out our Fundraising Hub below)). Set up a fundraising page and get it out to your contacts on social media and you'll be amazed how much you can raise!

If you are running on a guaranteed entry owned by a charity then they will set the target for you. This will be a much higher target than if you have your own entry, but it will still be very achievable if you plan ahead and don't leave it too late

Remember that if you don't have to raise huge amounts to help your charity if you have your own race entry, just do what you can. The more runners that can help, the better. Make contact with your preferred charity, set up a fundraising page on the platform they use and let your friends and family know. It's easier than you think! If you don't want a target, no worries, just do your best. Whatever you can raise will help. We have plenty of advice to get you on your way!
