HOW MANY CHARITIES ARE INVOLVED?

Around 20-30 will have guaranteed entries and others will have runners using their own entry to raise funds.

WHY IS IT GOOD FOR FUNDRAISING?

There is a real party atmosphere and the charities have a good profile out on the course. They provide a range of support from point of sign up to post race.

WHAT ABOUT AFTER THE RACE?

The majority of the bigger charities have a post race function in and around Bondi Beach to thank their runners for their efforts. Many of these include food and drink and masseurs. Friends and family are often invited to these.

HOW MUCH IS RAISED?

The target for 2024 is $3million, although it peaked in 2015 at over $5million.

HOW TOUGH IS IT TO GET A CHARITY ENTRY?

It's very easy. The average fundraising pledge is $1000 although some accept $800.
